Bagger

Machine Overview

Bagger

The Bagger is an automatic bread packaging unit designed to receive finished bread stacks and insert them into bags in a continuous production flow. It forms the final machine stage before the packed product leaves the line for handling and distribution.

The machine integrates automatic bagging with a bag closing unit, helping bakeries improve packaging consistency and reduce manual handling at the end of production.

Optional additions such as date printing and metal detector integration allow the system to be adapted to broader packaging and quality control requirements.

Machine Function

Automatic Bagging and Closing

The Bagger automatically receives the bread stacks and guides them into prepared bags using a synchronized infeed and retractable belt system.

Two retractable belts help move the product to the bottom of the bag, while the nose bar infeed conveyor supports a gentle transfer into the packaging area.

Once the product is inserted, the bag closing unit completes the packaging process, preparing the finished packs for final discharge and collection.

Production Workflow

Role in the Production Line

The Bagger operates after the Counter & Stacker and completes the final packaging stage of the line. Its role is to receive organized bread stacks, place them into bags, close the packaging, and discharge the finished packs in a controlled flow.

By automating this final step, the machine helps maintain line continuity and supports a more efficient and consistent end-of-line operation.

Operational Benefits

Key Functional Advantages
