Counter & Stacker

Machine Overview

Counter & Stacker

The Counter & Stacker automatically receives baked bread from the cooling line, counts the loaves, and forms organized stacks according to the operator’s selected settings.

It is designed to automate one of the final handling stages of the production line, helping bakeries improve consistency, hygiene, and packing efficiency before the bagging process.

The machine is available in different versions to suit the layout and capacity of pita, Lebanese, and Arabic bread production lines.

Machine Function

Automatic Counting and Stack Formation

The Counter & Stacker takes bread directly from the cooling line and organizes it into stacks based on the number of loaves defined by the operator.

It combines counting, alignment, stack formation, and delivery into one continuous stage, preparing the bread for smooth transfer to the bagger.

This automated handling process helps reduce manual work and supports a cleaner, more efficient packing workflow.

Production Workflow

Role in the Production Line

The Counter & Stacker operates after the cooling conveyors and before the bagging stage. Its role is to receive cooled bread, count the loaves, align them, form stacks, and deliver those stacks in an orderly way toward packaging.

By automating this stage, the machine helps maintain a continuous post-baking flow and improves consistency in final product handling.

Operational Benefits

Key Functional Advantages

Automatic Bread Counting

Counts the loaves automatically and forms stacks based on operator-defined settings.

Adjustable Stack Quantity

The number of loaves per stack can be defined and changed during operation.

Automatic Loaf Pressing

Includes a loaf pressing unit that flattens the loaves and removes air for more homogeneous stacks.

Loaf Flipping System

Can flip the first loaves of the stack so the face of the loaf appears on both sides of the bag.

Alignment and Anti-Jam Control

Adjustable loaf alignment flaps and smart synchronized delivery help maintain orderly stacks and prevent jamming.

Flexible Delivery to Bagger

The transport belt to the bagger can be designed straight or angled based on available space and layout requirements.

Applications

Used in Pita and Flatbread Packing Stages

The Counter & Stacker is used in bakery lines where bread must be counted, organized, and stacked before bagging.

Pita Bread

Automates counting and stacking before pita bread packaging.

Lebanese Bread

Supports organized final handling and stack delivery to the bagger.

Arabic Bread

Improves hygiene and consistency in the final packing stages of Arabic bread production.
