Dough Sheeter

Machine Overview

Dough Sheeter

The Dough Sheeter is designed to transform rounded dough pieces into uniform, thin, flattened, round dough pieces in a continuous process.

It receives the dough pieces from the first proofer and prepares them for the following production stages with controlled thickness and diameter.

Built for industrial flat bread production, the machine combines precise mechanical forming with automated process control to deliver consistent dough shaping results.

Machine Function

Continuous Flattening into Uniform Round Dough Pieces

The sheeter receives rounded dough pieces from the first proofer and continuously transforms them into flattened round pieces with a controlled final shape.

This is achieved through an electro-pneumatic operating system combined with high-precision sheeting cylinders coated in hard chrome.

Depending on the model, one or two automatic pressing units with flour dusters are installed, while the L-shape layout performs two flattening procedures before the dough moves forward.

Production Workflow

Role in the Production Process

The Dough Sheeter sits after the first proofing stage, where rounded dough pieces must be flattened accurately before final fermentation and baking.

After sheeting, the formed dough loaves are automatically sent to the final proofer to begin the final fermentation process, making this machine a critical shaping stage in the line.

Operational Benefits

Key Functional Advantages

Continuous Sheeting Process

Continuously transforms rounded dough pieces into uniform flattened round pieces for steady line operation.

Electro-Pneumatic Operation

Uses an electro-pneumatic system to control the sheeting process with dependable forming performance.

Hard-Chrome Sheeting Cylinders

High-precision cylinders coated in hard chrome support accurate and repeatable dough flattening.

Automatic Pressing Units

One or two automatic pressing units with flour dusters are installed depending on the selected model.

Two-Step Flattening

The L-shape configuration performs two flattening procedures to achieve the required dough form.

Adjustable Final Output

The design allows easy adjustment of the dough loaf diameter and thickness according to production needs.

Applications

Suitable for Flat Bread Dough Forming

This machine is suitable for flat bread production lines that require rounded dough pieces to be sheeted into controlled thin round forms before final proofing and baking.

Chapatti

Suitable for chapatti lines requiring controlled dough flattening before the next fermentation stage.

Tortilla

Supports tortilla dough shaping with adjustable thickness and diameter control.

Flat Bread

Used in flat bread processes where uniform flattened dough pieces are required for stable downstream production.
